Italian Bomboloni







1/2 cup plain water
2 tbsp milk powder
1 tbsp butter
500gm bread flour
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp b. powder
1 cup cold milk
11 gm instant yeast
1 egg

Mix all the above to form dough, rest for 30 mins
Punch dough to let the air out
Shape dough into round balls:23-25 balls
Rest for another 30 mins or when the balls expand 2x the original size
Heat oil in a pot and fry the balls using medium fire till golden brown colour
Coat balls with castor sugar or snow sugar
cut a hole in the middle of the ball and pipe the filling of your choice, cheese or nutella
Waaa soft and pong pong bomboloni....
