Tiramisu cake

 Ingredients:
6 egg yolks
3/4 cup castor sugar
2/3 cup milk
1 1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
 16 ozs mascarpone cheese
1/4 cup strong coffee
2 tbsp rum(optional)
1 pkt ladyfinger cookies
1 tbsp cocoa powder

step:
In a saucepan, whisk together egg yolk and sugar till well blended. Whisk in milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixtures boils. Boil gently 1 min, remove and allow to cool. Cover and chill for 1 hr.

Beat heavy cream until stiff peak.
Whisk cheese into yolk mixture till smooth.

In a bowl combine coffee. Split ladyfingers in half lengthwise and drizzle with coffee mixture.

Arrange half of soak ladyfinger in bottom of 8 x8 in pan. Spread half of cheese mixture over the ladyfinger, then half of whipped cream over the cheese. Repeat layers and springkle with cocoa. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hrs till set.

Chocolate Cheese Cake


  • **utk lapis coklat**
  • 1 1/2 cwn gula halus
  • 125g butter
  • 2 biji telur (grade c~berat utk 2 biji sekitar 80~95gram)
  • 1/2 cwn serbuk coklat/koko (van houten) + 1/2 cwn air panas (bagi larut)
  • 3/4 cwn susu coklat
  • 1 1/2 cwn tepung gandum + 1 sd teh soda bikarbonat + 1 sd teh serbuk penaik (ayak bersama)
  • 1 sd teh esen vanilla

  •  utk lapis cheese pula            
  • 375 g cream cheese
  • 100 g gula halus
  • 1/2 cwn tepung gandum
  • 2 biji telur (grade C juga ye)
  • 50ml air biasa

  • Cara-cara

    1. Memula kena buat lapisan yg coklat dulu k... Mcm biasa la kan.... Pukul butter dgn gula sampai gula larut dan kembang. Pastu masukkan telur sebiji demi sebiji. pastu masukkan pula campuran coklat (yg dah siap2 bancuh dgn air panas tu). Lepas tu masuk pula susu coklat. Lepas tu boleh la masukkan pula campuran tepung+soda bikarbonat+serbuk penaik dan esen. gaul rata.               
    2. Sediakan loyang yang bersaiz 8 inci x 8 inci yg berbentuk segi empat tepat.              
    3. Panaskan oven suhu 170 darjah celcius selama 5 minit. Bakar pula adunan kek coklat tu selama 12 hingga 15 minit.                
       
    4. Sementara menunggu kek coklat tu... Kite pukul cream cheese dgn gula sampai kembang. lepas tu masukkan telur dan pukul lagi. Pastu masuk pula tepung dan gaul rata. Last sekali masukkan air.              
    5. Bila adunan kek coklat dah siap 15 minit, masukkan pula adunan cheese tadi ke atasnya. Bakar dengan cara marine bath. Letak dulang bawah dia dgn air. Jgn lupa tutup loyang kek dgn aluminium foil sebab nak bagi permukaan kek yg cantik. Bakar pula selama 40 minit.
    6. Bila dah siap bakar, biarkan aje kek sejuk sendiri dalam oven... Pastu simpan pula dalam freezer .....

    Chocolate oatmeal Cookies

    All time favourite, keeper's recipe...

    50gm icing sugar
    200gm flour
    140gm butter
    1/2 egg

    Egg filling
    140gm sugar
    4 eggs
    300 ml water
    80 ml evaporated milk

    1.    Knead butter and flour
    2.    Refrigerate for 20 mins
    3.    Boil water and sugar
    4.    Leave to cool
    5.    Mould pastry-press with 2 thumbs-prick with fork
    6.    Edge slightly higher than pan 
    7.    Mix milk and egg into sugar water
    8.    Sift mixture
    9.    Pour egg filling into mould
    10. 80% full cup and bake immediately
    11.  Bake for 20 mins at 200c
    12.  Ready when toothpick can stand upright....
